Off-Day ActivityWhen not training/working/coaching, my wife and I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, drinking coffee, enjoying craft beers, watching movies, practicing guitar, and playing with our 2 cats (Clarice and Hannibal-- her idea, not mine!)

I've been doing triathlon for about 10 years. My journey started in part by accident. I showed up for a triathlon club meeting at Marquette University my freshman year. It turned out I was the only one who was new and they were all meeting to discuss logistics for a regional triathlon race that weekend. I had done a bit of swimming (but never open water), road biking, and had a background in running. I had a blast and had the fastest run split of the day. I was hooked and have been training and raining since then!

My friends David and Evelyn introduced me to the Castelli Multisport Team in 2020! I was lucky to be able to have a great training camp with the team in St. George in March of 2021. This awesome group has inspired me and gets me excited for the team aspect of racing and triathlon. I love hearing about all the challenges and adventures that people are doing.

For 2023, I'm a healthy mix of races including fat bike, nordic ski (Birkie), a duathlon series, and sprint/olympic triathlons (including Nationals in Milwaukee).
